Humidity levels are too low

1. If you have installed a dehumidistat ensure that

its setting is correct. (Summer - OFF) (Winter -

30% RH to 45% RH).

2. Check humidifier settings. (Summer - OFF)

(Winter - 30% RH to 45% RH).

NOTE: Humidifier should always be 10% lower

than dehumidistat.

3. Change thermostat fan switch from manual to

automatic.

Humidity levels are too high

1. If you have installed a dehumidistat ensure its

setting is correct. (Summer - OFF)(Winter -

30% RH to 45% RH).

2. Install a dehumidistat if necessary. (Winter use

only. Not for hot southern climates).

3. Change thermostat fan switch from automatic

to manual.

NOTE: The CAF has the ability to dehumidify dur-

ing the heating season. (When outside air is less

humid than indoor air). If you are in a region where

outdoor humidity levels are typically higher than

indoor humidity levels, a dehumidistat should not

be used in this system.
